It has been about a year since we updated you regarding some of the flexibility of the Westview clad-wood system. Since folding door assemblies are especially popular in newer designs we are featuring a Washington project that integrates such a product, along with several other products worthy of review.

This picture indicates the space set aside for the addition when the home was built several years ago.

Via extensive design work and engineering the plan evolved. The client was very precise in the planning for all the features.

Nana Wall produces one of the most well-known folding doors. Westview Products has used this product on several occasions to not only accomplish the desired function but to complement the clad-wood features of the Westview Products System.

Westview Products uses many Velux operable skylights in the roof areas, providing needed ventilation and added light penetration to the back of the room or perhaps to the main living area of the home.

An interior partition wall provided by Westview Products can blend well with the exterior unit and create a dining area or separate space for a fireplace or other feature.

Because the Westview Products System has a wood structure it can accommodate standard roofing above the glass. Also, in the walls, you can note the clad-wood operable units are in this case Pella, blending well with Nana Wall and the Westview Products fixed glass areas.
